“Noah’s building a WHAT!!?” We can only imagine what folks in Noah’s time were thinking. What slowly took shape was a wooden vessel 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high…on land! We’ll have an opportunity to experience its immensity, design, and wonder—and God’s gracious plan for mankind—on Friday, October 16, at The Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky. It stands out as the largest freestanding timber structure in the world, and illustrates what life aboard may have been like. We’ll also learn about flood geology and the subsequent Ice Age.
Our bus departs the church parking lot at 8:30 AM for our adventure. Senior group tickets are $50.50. Full payment is due no later than Sunday, September 20. You can pay by cash or check (payable to Nancy Brown). Scooters and wheelchairs are available for a fee on a first-come, first-served basis. And there is an elevator for each of the three decks. A late lunch afterward in the Dry Ridge area is, of course, on our own.
